Intermediate Program is for players with basketball experience, either with a team or through training, generally middle school age (4-9th grade). Players will improve their basketball skills, game IQ, speed, and agility. The program will focus on skills and players will be pushed outside their comfort zones challenging them to improve. A normal day will consist of warm ups, speed and strength training, review, new skills or concepts, practice and game play. Each day and week will build on each other helping players to develop at the right pace. Players learn the Pure Advantage curriculum from Matt Conboy, one of the top trainers in the country, and skilled high school and college assistants. Each player will be evaluated at the start of the summer and be measure only against themselves. The goal of the Intermediate Program is to help players reach the next level of competition. Love of basketball, sportsmanship, and unselfish play will be emphasized and players will gain confidence in their abilities to compete.
Intermediate sessions will be two hours long starting at 9:00am – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – for a total of 32 sessions from June 27th through August 18th.
